About Registered Users

In order for an individual to access V-Suite applications, he/she must sign in to the system. Only valid V-Suite users are allowed to sign into the system. V-Suite R4 supports multiple methods of authentication - Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication and/or V-Suite authentication.

Additionally, V-Suite provides a self-registration feature for members of linked security groups. This allows eligible users to register themselves, streamlining the onboarding process and minimizing administrative intervention. To know more about this, please visit the User Self-registration topic.

When a user signs in, the system will authenticate the user's credentials. Click here to learn more about V-Suite authentication.

Manage Registered Users

Registered Users are managed via the Registered Users Application. The Registered Users Application can be accessed via the System Administration icon on the V-Suite home page.

You will not see the Registered Users Application if you are not entitled to use the application. Click here to learn more about entitlements.

The Registered Users Application presents a table showing all registered V-Suite users. This table consists of these columns:

  • Email Address - Displays the registered email address of the user. This is also the primary identifier for each user in the system.
  • First Name - Represents the user's given name.
  • Last Name - Represents the user's surname or family name.
  • User Status - Indicates the current activity status of the user. Users can either be "Enabled", allowing them access to the system, or "Disabled", restricting their access.
  • Action - Provides options to either edit or delete the user's details.

In the Registered Users Application, you have the ability to:

Manage Password Policy

The Registered Users Application manages password policy and password expiration. To learn more about configuring the password policy, click here.

Synchronize Linked Data

In the Registered Users Application, you can also initiate a manual synchronization for Linked Security Groups and Linked Organization Roles. For more details, please refer to the Synchronize Linked Data help topic.

The option to Synchronize Linked Data will only available when Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication has been configured.
