V-Suite Web offers the ability for users to self-register, a feature available when the platform is configured with Single Sign-On (SSO) mechanisms, such as Azure AD or ADFS. This process streamlines the addition of new users by allowing them to provide their own details, directly after being authenticated through their corporate account.

Registration Process

Upon signing in with a corporate account, if a user is part of a V-Suite linked security group but does not have an existing V-Suite user account, they will be presented with the self-registration page.

The self-registration page lets the user enter the following information:

  • Email - The email address of the user. This email address will also serve as the username for signing into the system via V-Suite's password-based authentication.
  • New Password - The V-Suite account password. The password must meet the password complexity settings. The password expiration will comply with the password policy settings. Click here to learn more about V-Suite password policy.
  • Confirm New Password - To avoid typos and ensure accuracy, re-enter the password provided in the previous field.
  • First Name - The first name of the user. This field is optional and may be left blank.
  • Last Name - The last name of the user. This field is optional and may be left blank.

Note: The "New Password" and "Confirm New Password" fields will appear only if the system has V-Suite's password-based authentication enabled.

Once the necessary information is provided, click the Register User button. Upon successful registration, the user's account will be automatically created in V-Suite Web and assigned to the appropriate predefined Linked Security Groups and Linked Organization Roles. The user will then be logged in and directed to the V-Suite Home Page.

Special Consideration for ADFS Users

For those using ADFS as the SSO provider, there is an option to decline the registration. If you decide not to proceed with the self-registration process, simply click on the "Do not register. Sign out from ADFS" link. This action will ensure that no account is created and will also sign you out from ADFS.
