To utilize the V-Suite web applications, it's necessary to sign in to the system. Access is granted only to valid, registered users. Unauthenticated users will be redirected to the V-Suite sign-in page.

For information on how to add new users, please visit the Add Registered User topic. Additionally, V-Suite supports User Self-registration for users authenticated through Single Sign-On, further details of which are provided below.

Authentication Methods

The system provides two methods for user validation:

  • Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication
  • V-Suite (password-based) authentication

You can only use those authentication methods that have been enabled by your system administrator.

Single Sign-On (SSO) Authentication

The following steps describe the SSO authentication process when Azure AD serves as the SSO provider. Please note, the process for Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) follows a very similar flow.

  • To sign in using an external SSO provider (Azure AD), click the Sign in with Corporate Account button.
  • You will be redirected to the Azure AD login page. If you're already signed into Azure AD (from another application, for instance), you might not see this page.
  • If you see the Azure AD login page, enter your Azure AD username (usually your work email), your Azure AD password and click 'Sign in'. If your organization has enabled Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), follow the prompts to provide the additional verification.
  • Once you've successfully authenticated with Azure AD, you'll be redirected back to the V-Suite web application. If your Azure AD account is linked to a V-Suite user account, you'll gain access to the V-Suite application.
  • If your Azure AD account isn't directly linked to a V-Suite user account and you belong to a linked security group, you'll be presented with the option to self-register.
  • If you choose not to self-register or don't belong to a linked security group, you'll see an error message prompting you to contact your V-Suite administrator or to sign in as a different user.

User Self-registration

If you're accessing V-Suite with a corporate account and are part of a V-Suite linked security group, but don't yet have a V-Suite user account, you'll be presented with a self-registration page. For a detailed overview of the self-registration process, please refer to the User Self-registration page.

The self-registration feature is only available in case V-Suite Web is integrated with SSO systems like Azure AD or ADFS.

V-Suite Authentication

To sign in using V-Suite authentication, select the Sign in with V-Suite account button. You will then be prompted to enter your V-Suite credentials:

  • Email - Enter the email address associated with your V-Suite account. For example: "johndoe@mydomain.com".
  • Password - Provide the password for your V-Suite account.

Sign In - Change Password

When you sign in to V-Suite for the first time or whenever you try to sign into V-Suite using an expired password, you will be asked to enter a new V-Suite account password. To change your password, you need to enter the following information:

  • Old Password - Your old (expired) password for the V-Suite account
  • New Password - The new password for the V-Suite account. The password must meet the password complexity settings.
  • Confirm New Password - For confirmation, enter the desired new password again.

Once done entering the password info, clicking the Change Password button will change your password and sign you into V-Suite web.

Keep me signed in

When you select the Keep me signed in checkbox, your information will be remembered for up to 30 days, even after you close your browser. The next time you open the same browser within 30 days, you will be automatically signed in. In order for Remember Me to function, you should not click the Sign out button in the application, but simply close your browser after you have finished.

By using the Keep me signed in option, you make it easier to sign in again, but this also means that anyone with access to the computer (using the same account to access the computer) will be able to sign in using your V-Suite account. Do not use Remember Me on a public computer or anywhere else where you cannot control access.

The V-Suite administrator has the ability to completely disable the Keep me signed in feature or adjust the number of days for which the sign-in information will be remembered (by default 30 days).
