Marked points are displayed the same way as other assets, as described in Displaying the 3D Model.

When a marked point is displayed the marker is always added to the scene, but the marked point tag is only shown if its "ShowTag" property is set to True (see Changing Marked Point Properties) AND the active asset window has the "Show Tags" toggle enabled. If the tag is shown but the marker is obstructed from view, the leader line will appear as a dashed line.

 - There are several options to enable or disable an asset view's "Show Tags" option.

From the Asset View Toolbar

  1. Make sure the "Show Tags" button is on the toolbar, (see Asset Window Toolbar for more information).
  2.  - click the toolbar button to toggle the asset view's "Show Tags" option or use the pull down arrow to only show/hide certain types of marked points.

From the Asset View context menu

  1. Make sure nothing is selected.
  2. Right click in the asset view to display the context menu.
  3. Select the "Show Tags" menu item to toggle the Asset View's "Show Tags" option or use the pop up menu to only show/hide certain types of marked points.

To change the initial state of the "Show Tags" option when opening a new asset window see V-Suite CORE Options.
