Break Mode

The break tool is usually used for breaking an Asset into two Assets, however, the break tool can also be used to break connections between two connected Assets.

Display some connected Assets in the Asset Window

Select the “Break” tool by either:

Clicking the “Break” button on the toolbar -
Choosing “Break” from the Asset View menu.

Using a keyboard shortcut, see Assigning Keyboard Shortcuts for more information.

While holding down the SHIFT key click on the connection point between the two Assets to remove the connection.

Hold down the SHIFT key and move over the connection point to be broken, click to break the connection.

The connection has been broken, so manipulating the Straight will not affect the Elbow anymore.
