This support announcement applies to V-Suite WEB R4, V-Suite CORE releases are not affected.

Visionaize has released an updated edition of V-Suite Web that includes SSO compatibility with Microsoft Azure AD/Office 365 or Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS). As a result, support for authentication with Active Directory will be discontinued. Windows authentication will be maintained through ADFS.

Existing Web environments

To transition to V-Suite WEB R4, customers who currently have V-Suite Web configured with Active Directory authentication need to ensure they first have configured ADFS before upgrading their deployed V-Suite Web environments. During the upgrade process, the migration of user accounts to ADFS will be handled automatically.

The automatic migration of existing user accounts to Azure AD/Office 365 accounts is not possible.

Customers looking to reconfigure their existing V-Suite Web environments (such as transitioning from an Active Directory mixed mode or V-Suite only environment to Azure AD) must either delete and re-create the environment themselves, or reach out to Visionaize support at support@visionaize.com for professional assistance to manually reconfigure the existing setup.
