Installation

This documentation is intended for system administrators who seek information on installing the server software.
V-Suite consists of server and client applications & components. The server will host the V-Suite Enterprise & License Server and Microsoft SQL Server. While all these server applications can be installed on a single server without any issues, customers will typically install Microsoft SQL Server on a dedicated database server.

The database server provides data services to connected V-Suite CORE clients and to V-Suite CORE Services.

Installation

This documentation is intended for system administrators who seek information on installing the client software.
V-Suite consists of server and client applications & components. The V-Suite Client application (V-Suite CORE) is installed on the user's computer.

System Administrators who wish to automate the client installion via Microsoft SCCM or an Active Directory GPO can do so via the provided Windows Installers (.msi).

V-Suite CORE is installed on the user's computer and is used to create and update Asset Databases and Knowledge Views.

Projects and Users are managed via the Enterprise Administrator application which is installed on both the Enterprise Server as well as the user's computer.

Installation

This documentation is intended for system administrators who seek information on installing the V-Suite WEB Application Server.
V-Suite WEB consists of server installed application services and Microsoft SQL Server. While both Microsoft SQL Server and the appliction services can be installed on a single server without any issues, customers will typically install Microsoft SQL Server on a dedicated database server.

The database server provides data services to the application server.
