Failure of the 'SQL Edition Requirements Validation rule indicates that the specified database instance is not the minimum required edition of SQL Server. Web R3 is not supported with Microsoft SQL Express, it requires one of the following editions:
 

    • Microsoft SQL Server Standard
    • Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise
    • Microsoft SQL Server Developer


To remedy, please identify a database server with one of forementioned editions or upgrade the database server.
