The V-Suite CORE 2021  can be installed side-by-side earlier versions of RealityLINx and V-Suite CORE client. Customers who have installed a node-locked license for an earlier version must request a new node-locked license.

System Requirements:

Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10

Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (included in V-Suite CORE installation package)

Hardware Recommendation:

CPU Type

Multi-Core Intel Xeon or I-Series (5,7) processor or AMD equivalent. Highest affordable CPU speed rating recommended.

8 GB RAM is usually sufficient for a typical client session.
This estimate is based on internal testing and customer reports. Individual models and function will vary in their use of computer resources and performance characteristics. For example, intensively working with point cloud data and CAD Import/export will benefit from additional memory. If you are a user who regularly imports/exports CAD and/or work with point cloud data we recommend 12-16 GB of RAM.

Disk Space

3 GB or more of available hard-disk space for installation

Graphics Card

A dedicated graphics processor (also called a graphics card, video card, or GPU) lets you experience better performance with V-Suite CORE graphics intensive operations, however modern integrated GPU's (for example Intel i5, i7 integrated GPU) or graphics cards with equivalent performance provide adequate graphics performance for most operations.

Network and Firewall Requirements:

There is a substantial amount network traffic between the client application and database server. A low latency network connection between client and database server is highly recommended. Currently, the system works best on a LAN. Direct TCP/IP connection required. Connection through firewall currently only supported through an externally configured adapter (i.e., established VPN connection). The V-Suite CORE client installation automatically adds the necessary program exceptions to the Windows Firewall. Click here  for more information about configuring the firewall.
