Measurements
Measurement user options can be accessed via the Tools - Options menu.
Click Measurements under Local Settings to manage the following options:
Measurement Markers
Current Color |
The color of the current measurement marker in the asset view. Clicking the browse button (...) will open the Color dialog. The default color is Orange. Point Measured: |
Stored Color |
The color of stored measurement markers in the asset view. Clicking the browse button (...) will open the Color dialog. The default color is Blue. |
Marker Size |
The size of the measurement marker's sphere(s) in the asset view. The size can be between 0 and 1000, with a default of 3. |
Line Width |
The width of the measurement marker's line. The line width can be between 0 and 10, with a default of 2. |
Line Length |
The length of the point measurement marker's line. The length can be between 0 and 1000, with a default of 50. |
Measurement Text
Appearance |
Color |
The color of the measurement marker's text in the asset view. Clicking the browse button (...) will open the Color dialog. The default color is black. |
Back Color |
The color of the measurement marker's back color in the asset view. Clicking the browse button (...) will open the Color dialog. The default color is white. |

Font |
The font used for the measurement marker. Clicking the browse button (...) will open the Font dialog. The default font is 10pt Arial. |

Current Point Coordinates |
Color |
The color of the current point measurement's coordinate text. Clicking the browse button (...) will open the Color dialog. The default color is white. |
Show E Coordinate |
Checking this option will display the current point measurement's E coordinate. The default is checked. |

Show N Coordinate |
Checking this option will display the current point measurement's N coordinate. The default is checked. |

Show U Coordinate |
Checking this option will display the current point measurement's U coordinate. The default is checked. |

Show E Distance |
Checking this option will display the East/West distance delta when taking a distance measurement. The default is checked. |

Show N Distance |
Checking this option will display the North/South distance delta when taking a distance measurement. The default is checked. |

Show U Distance |
Checking this option will display the Up/Down distance delta when taking a distance measurement. The default is checked. |

Location |
The location of the current point measurement's coordinate text. The text can be positioned next to the measurement marker, or in the top right corner of the Asset Viewer. The default is Attached To Marker. |
