Scratch pad pages that you create will be public when created. Anyone who has access to the Knowledge View will be able to read and modify your scratch pad page.

Making a Scratch Pad Page Private 

 

Clicking on the unlock icon on a scratch pad page inside the scratch pad panel will make your scratch pad page private.

When a scratch pad page is private, only the creator of the scratch pad page will be able to view and modify the scratch pad page.

You can only see the unlock icon for scratch pad pages that you own and have made public.

Making a Scratch Pad Page Public 

 

Clicking on the lock icon on a scratch pad page inside the scratch pad panel will make your scratch pad page public.


Scratch pad pages that do not have the lock or unlock icon are public scratch pad pages that do not belong to you.  You are allowed to view and edit them.
