The Bubble Viewer displays the image of a scan in a rotatable photo viewer. The bubble viewer can be accessed via clicking a scan image in the scan quick info.

The navigation compass indicates view direction and inclination in degrees. The compass is only available if the scan images have been configured to be image aligned (see below).

The view direction and viewpoint can be manipulated via the mouse, and/or touch screen gestures.

Bubble Viewer Toolbar

The bubble viewer toolbar provides the following functions:

Sets the bubble viewer's direction back to the scan's direction.

Only available if the scans are image aligned.

Sets the field of view for the bubble viewer. This is done via a slider, which will appear after clicking this function.
A narrower field of view will provide a 'zoom in' effect. A wider field of view will provide a 'zoom out' effect.

Command to create a new scratch pad page. See Scratch Pad.

Exits back to the 3D viewer.

Aligning Images

Aligning images to scans will set the bubble viewer's direction to the direction of the scan. Enabling the alignment of images will cause the compass to appear, and the toolbar function "Align Viewer to Scan" to be available. The command to align images to their scans is done via a separate database script provided by Visionaize. Contact customer support for more information on this feature.

By default, scans are not considered to be image aligned.

Setting the alignment of images requires two parameters to be set via the database script. See the script help documentation, or contact customer support for

more information.
