The AutoCAD provider adapter does not provide sufficient asset Information to assign non-volatile, unique asset keys. The asset information described by assets provided from AutoCAD DWG contains mainly graphical information, for example the dimensions, location and orientation of a cylinder.

v-Suite CORE CAD source synchronization assigns asset keys that are a function of the graphical representation of the asset. Asset keys are therefore unique (unless there are duplicate cylinders, boxes etc.) but is volatile since the graphical representation of an asset may change. Refer to v-Suite CORE default Synchronization behavior for more details on how v-Suite CORE will synchronize the asset database based on unique, volatile asset keys.

The AutoCAD provider adapter does not allow you to change the default definition of asset keys on the Schema Mapping Page of the CAD Source Wizard.
