All Visionaize applications are protected with a software license key. The application can only be executed if it can find a valid license key. The license keys allow the use of a node-locked (standalone) license or a floating (network) license. A license key contains a series of license codes that enable different flavors of V-Suite CORE.

A node-locked key is locked to a specific workstation. V-Suite CORE can only be executed on the workstation for which the license was generated. Node-locked keys are used for demo licenses. You will need to register and activate your node-locked key

A floating license allows multiple (dependent on the number of licenses) concurrent or named users on the network to execute the application. Floating licenses are hosted by the Visionaize License Server. You will need to activate your floating license on each client at startup or using the User Options.

Initial License Status

When you first run V-Suite CORE, you will be presented with your current License Status. Simply click on Configure Licensing Options to activate the floating licenses or register and activate your node-locked license.

Ongoing License Status

If one of your activated licenses has expired or is missing, the License Status will appear every time you run V-Suite CORE. You can continue executing V-Suite CORE if the licenses are Add-On licenses by using Continue without Add-On Licenses. The add-on functionality will not be available during the V-Suite CORE session. You can also deactivate the problem licenses using Configure License Options to prevent this dialog from appearing next time you run V-Suite CORE.

Expiring License Status

You will be warned when your license is about to expire. Simply acknowledge this warning to continue using V-Suite CORE. Please contact Visionaize to renew your node-locked license or your System Administrator to renew the floating license.
