Overview

V-Suite CORE 2019 Update 4 (8.0.1.179) is a minor version which supports Japanese Language and a project Language Glossary for database items. This version is not compatible with earlier versions of V-Suite CORE 2019 (2019 Update 3 and earlier). Customers must upgrade both server (IES/ILS) and clients.

Customers who upgrade from V-Suite CORE 2018 or earlier should first consult the V-Suite CORE 2019 Release Notes for important product information.

Enhancements

V-Suite CORE:

Improved the performance of region (area) select. Users should be made aware that the default behavior is changed. While before region (area) select would default to the selection priority (as defined in the project settings), now the default selects the lowest level assets.
ALT - Region Select will abide to the selection priority.

INOVX Enterprise Administrator (IEA):

Administrators can now configure a Windows Accounts for the application SQL Server login, irrelevant of SQL Configuration (Mixed Mode/SQL Authentication only)

Localization:

V-Suite CORE, Task Center, IEA and ILA now support Japanese Language.

V-Suite CORE supports a database  language glossary for data items like Templates, Template Attributes, Macros, etc.

V-Suite CORE end user software changes

While before the "region (area) select command" would default to the selection priority (as defined in the project settings), now the default selects the lowest level assets.
ALT - Region Select will abide to the selection priority.

Project Administrators using the Configuration Tool Windows (for example the Tool Windows for Templates, Macros, etc.) will observe that item names can no longer be modified via the inline-editor but can only be renamed via the properties form. To support localization, items now have a "Name" and a "Localized" name. The localized name is exposed in the tool window and cannot be modified through the UI
The Localized Name is used for presentation purposes only. Existing macros which obtain templates by name are not affected and newly written macros should always obtain templates, appearances, workspace, etc. by "Name", not by "Localized Name".
